Privacy Policy

Overview

BiosCoach (“we,” “us”) provides adaptive training and sports-nutrition coaching at https://bioscoach.ai and in the BiosCoach iOS and Android apps. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

BiosCoach is not a medical service. Our guidance is for performance and wellness education. Consult a physician before starting a new training or nutrition program.

Information we collect

Account and profile: name, email, birth date, sex, height, sport, training goals, schedule, food preferences, and equipment. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, those providers authenticate you and share the account identifier and, if you allow it, name and email.

Training and nutrition: workouts you log, meals you log, prescriptions we generate, and assessments you complete.

Biometrics: sleep, heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, weight, and body composition when you enter them or when a connected source provides them.

Wearable connections: if you connect Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, Fitbit, Withings, or other devices through our integration partner TryTerra, we receive normalized health and activity data you authorize. We do not receive your wearable account password.

Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS: when you grant access, we may read sleep, heart rate, HRV, weight, and related fitness data to personalize training and recovery. We may write completed workouts you log. We do not use clinical health records.

Health Connect and Google Fit on Android: when you grant access, we may read the health and fitness data types you allow (such as sleep, heart rate, and activity) through Terra’s Health Connect integration.

Bluetooth accessories: if you connect a heart-rate monitor or indoor bike trainer, we use Bluetooth to receive live workout metrics during a session. On Android, locating nearby Bluetooth devices may use location permission; we do not use that permission to track you on a map.

Microphone and speech: if you use voice questions for Coach, the microphone and on-device or OS speech recognition convert your speech to text. We do not sell voice recordings.

Photos: if you save or share a workout image, we access the photo library only for that action.

Support and feedback: messages you send to Coach or to support.

How we use information

Generate daily training and nutrition prescriptions tailored to your context.

Adapt plans based on readiness, schedule, and logged activity.

Show live cardio targets (heart rate, power, or running pace) during a session.

Improve product quality, reliability, and safety.

Respond to support requests and communicate about your account or trial.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers that help us operate BiosCoach, including hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), API infrastructure (Google Cloud), wearable aggregation (TryTerra), and AI coaching responses (Google Gemini), only as needed to provide the service.

Wearable providers receive OAuth authorization directly from you; Terra routes authorized data to BiosCoach per your connection choices.

Apple and Google receive the HealthKit / Health Connect permissions you grant in their system dialogs. If you sign in with Apple or Google, those companies also receive the authentication request. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Retention and deletion

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes.

You can request account or data deletion from Settings in the BiosCoach app, at https://bioscoach.ai/account-deletion, or by emailing support@bioscoach.ai. We will confirm identity before processing and complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and access controls on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

You can update profile and food preferences in Settings.

You can disconnect wearables and revoke Apple Health or Health Connect access at any time in Settings or in the OS health app.

You can stop using BiosCoach and request deletion as described above.

Children

BiosCoach is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
